On Sept. 22, Ricky Armando Perez failed to return to the community corrections facility, Hilltop House, in Durango from an approved employment pass.
Perez was serving a 30-month sentence for assault 2-strangulation, a class-4 felony. He has ties in the Pagosa Springs area.
Perez is 29 years of age, Hispanic, 5-foot-11-inches tall, 175 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair. Distinguishing marks include a dragon head tattoo on his left arm, a snake and tribal tattoo on his right chest, a scar on his left left hand (long incision), a scar on his right hand (burn mark), a tattoo of lightning bolt on his left ankle, a scar on pointing finger on his left hand and a scar on his pinky knuckle on right hand
